Inspired by a Taiwanese divination ritual, Moon Blocks brings three performers around a single timpani. The work turns the movement of casting moon blocks into part of the performance while exploring sounds produced by the timpani, metal objects, and other materials.

For clarinet and marimba

LOVE moves through four connected sections. A quiet marimba opening gives way to a clarinet melody, followed by a dance-like passage and a gentle exchange of lullaby-like melodies. The music grows more urgent before ending with a faint heartbeat played on the marimba.
